01What does COSHH stand for?
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. The COSHH Regulations require UK employers to assess and control the risks from hazardous substances such as cleaning chemicals, dusts and fumes.
02Is this a COSHH assessment?
No. It is a routine check that your controls are in place. You still need a written COSHH assessment for substances that need one.
03Where do I find the hazard information?
On the product's safety data sheet (SDS), which your supplier must provide. Section 8 covers PPE and section 4 first aid.
04Is it free?
