01What does a daily walkaround check cover?
The checks DVSA expects drivers to make before using a vehicle: inside the cab (mirrors, wipers, brakes, warning lights), lights, tyres and wheels, fluid leaks, bodywork, coupling and the load. This sheet follows that order.
02Who should do the check?
The driver, before the vehicle is first used each day (or each shift). Defects must be reported and fixed before driving if they affect safety.
03Can I add photos of defects?
