01What is lockout tagout?
A procedure that isolates every energy source and locks it off, so a machine can't start while someone works on it. Each person fits their own lock and tag.
02What is stored energy?
Energy that remains after isolation, such as air or hydraulic pressure, springs, raised parts or charged capacitors. It must be released or blocked before work starts.
03Does this replace our isolation procedure?
No. Use it alongside the specific procedure and permit for each machine.
04Is it free?
Yes. Fill it in online and download it as a PDF, Excel or PNG, 3 reports a day, with no sign-up, and you can add your logo. Pro adds photos, your signature, premium designs and unlimited reports.
