01Is a pre-use check a legal requirement?
In the UK, PUWER requires work equipment to be maintained and inspected so it stays safe. Daily pre-use checks by trained operators are a common way to show that. Your risk assessment decides what is needed.
02What if a check fails?
Don't use the machine. Tag it out of service and report it so it can be repaired before anyone uses it.
03Can I make one per machine?
