01Why do I need an inventory?
It is the main evidence of what was in the property and its condition. Without one, deposit disputes are hard to win for either side.
02How detailed should it be?
Describe each item's condition (for example 'small scuff on left wall') and count items like crockery. Photos help a lot: Pro adds a photo to any item in the PDF.
03Should the tenant sign it?
Yes. Give the tenant a copy to check and sign within a few days, and keep a signed copy yourself.
04Is it free?
Yes. Fill it in online and download it as a PDF, Excel or PNG, 3 reports a day, with no sign-up, and you can add your logo. Pro adds photos, your signature, premium designs and unlimited reports.
